individual Therapy for Adults

Relational therapy

Therapy for families or parents and their tweens/ teens to address the following:

  • Family conflict, transition in the family, grief and loss, adjustment to changes in structure (marriage, remarriage, divorce), entrance or exit of family members in the home, supporting family members with mental health needs, and others.

Additional Specializations:

  • Religious Trauma and Adverse Religious Experiences: Former ministers, exvangelicals, those deconstructing their faith, and those who plan to never step foot in a church again. I work with individuals to process and heal from spiritual abuse, toxic church relationships, experiences of being shamed or rejected, impacts of purity culture on sex and identity, and other areas.

  • LGBTQ concerns. There are many unique areas that can be difficult to navigate and cause stress- exploring identity, coming out to friends, family, and coworkers, transitions in gender expression, experiences of rejection and not being seen, and others. Many folks in the LGBTQ community struggle with mental health and need support. Wherever you are in your journey, I would love to walk alongside you. You deserve to be celebrated and to have tools to help you succeed.

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be”. -Maya Angelou
